Is it possible to add CSS to hide the “Edit” link for tables when viewing a page/post while logged into wordpress admin?

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, you could use theme CSS for this, but a quicker way might be to use the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/remove-edit-link/
