Hi @omniafausta,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m so sorry for the delay here.
Yes, manual deletion is the way to go for a full cleanup. Most rows are removed during uninstallation of the plugin, but a small number of entries are intentionally left behind so ExactMetrics doesn’t need to be reconfigured in case of temporarily or accidental plugin deactivation.
Some example rows to remove are:
- exactmetrics_settings
- exactmetrics_over_time
- exactmetrics_current_version
Please try a search for ExactMetrics in your database to locate them. There are also two crons that can be deregistered:
- exactmetrics_email_summaries_cron
- exactmetrics_usage_tracking_cron
In case you need some help with locating where you can make these changes, here are some guides:

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I will drop all rows from exactmetrics. But am I also correct in thinking that rows from gadwp are from a plugin that was taken over by Exact metrics and can also be dropped?
thanks
Joke
Hi @omniafausta,
Sorry for missing this! Yes, that’s correct, gadwp was the original plugin that ExactMetrics was rebranded from, so those rows are from the same plugin and are safe to drop as well.
Thank you!
