I want to remove the featured image from post page so that only shows up in previews. From what I’ve read, there is a line of code I need to remove from the single.php file. However I cannot find the single.php file. So, is there any other way, or is there a way for me to create a single.php file? I know basically no code so I cannot write my own codes. My theme is Venture lite from Nimbus.

Please try asking for assistance in the theme’s dedicated forum: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/venture-lite

In the meantime, do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes.

Install this Custom CSS plugin and use this code to hide the image from being displayed, it’s still there and being loaded, but isn’t visible.

.single .archive-singular-wrap img { display: none; }

That’s the easy solution, the correct way would bee to use a Child Theme and override the parent theme single.php file with a customized one, with the relevant image code being removed, as suggested by emsi.
