Remove featured image from single post, php edit not working

    I removed the featured image code from my php file for a single post but when I re-uploaded my theme that edit seems to no longer be working.

    Any suggestions?

    answered my own question.

    remove this <?php the_post_thumbnail('themename-full-thumb'); ?> from the content php file, or according file for your theme.
