Remove Featured Post Help

    Hello. I am trying to get rid of the featured post. So I removed the featured post call from the index.php page. However, now the four posts that had previously shown as the featured posts no longer show on my blog even though they are not set as a sticky. Any ideas as to how to fix this without having to keep the featured post?

    Hey there. There isn’t an easy way to remove the whole featured posts section, but I’ll consider that as a feature request for an upcoming update to the theme. Meanwhile, what you were trying to do is half the trick. The second half lies within the expound_pre_get_posts function, which removes featured posts from the stream.
