Hi @thecreator01,
Thanks for reaching out.
Customer registration is disabled in the settings. Shouldn’t such options be automatically removed anyway?
To clarify, the “filter by registered customer” and “Customer:” field on the orders page are default aspects of WooCommerce and remain visible even if customer registration is disabled.
This is because they are part of the core functionality of WooCommerce and are not automatically removed when customer registration is turned off.
As for your request, this is a customization request which is out of our support scope, however, a little research led me to this link here, I hope it can point you in the right direction.
All the best.
Hello, thank you very much for your response. @ckadenge
The code shared in the link has been tested on WooCommerce 3.6.2 but is not working right now.
Hi there @thecreator01,
Thanks again for getting back to us.
As I mentioned earlier, this is a request beyond what we can offer as WooCommerce support as it involves custom coding.
However, I would recommend the following:
- Running the exact question you’re asking, along with the code, through an AI platform like ChatGPT for recommendations/changes to your code;
- Checking whether there are existing plugins in the WordPress plugin repository that might be doing that already.
- Joining our WooCommerce Slack community (it does have a developer channel where you can ask coding questions): https://woo.com/community-slack/
Hope it helps!
