Remove formatting before saving to database

    Often user copy the text that goes in the text area field from word or another website. When pasting it in the text area it carries the formatting with it. This overrides the theme design and make that content look alien to the website.

    One solution was to disable the advance editor but it doesn’t respect the paragraphs. Is there a way to save the text area field content without formatting and keep the entered spaces between paragraphs?

    Hi,

    I’m sorry, but either all text format is stripped or not.

    You cannot selectively strip some and leave others.

    The ideal would be to use a text editor that doesn’t add as much format as Word.
