Hi, I’m using a shortcode to display the date (or date range) of the next upcoming event. I display this in a table.

I want the output to be plain text. But: it’s presented as an unordered list (UL) despite the output is only one value. Also it overrules my color style.

Hopefully someone can help me with this, because I’ve been searching for hours now 🙂

I’m having this problem, too. Something’s inserting <ul><li> tags outside the shell of the template you can edit.

The output of the upcoming events list is wrapped in an unordered list by default.

This can be changed using filters:
