    I don’t like to see backlinks without consent such as “This XML Sitemap Index file contains x sitemaps. Generated by Slim SEO”.

    Search bots do not see this link. It is displayed only in the user’s browser.
    If you want to remove this, then try adding this code to the functions.php file:
    add_filter( 'slim_seo_sitemap_style', '__return_false' );

    This will remove the sitemap styling.

    Well, thanks but i prefer to remove the “info” part only, or have the opportunity to enable/disable this 1 line credit. No need to tell everyone that we are on wp that easily.
