    Hi there!

Whenever I paste an image in my email, Gmail adds a placeholder where the image was pasted and put the image at the end of the post.

You can see an example here: http://charlesmerlin.fr/image-placeholder-message/

Do you guys know how to remove the placeholder Gmail includes when one pastes an image in their email? Is going to plain text, attaching the image and using the #img# shortcode the only solution?

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Charles

You get this placeholder when Postie processes the plain text version of your email. Verify that the “Preferred Text Type” setting is set to HTML.

    Thank you, @wayneallen-1.

You’re right! I switched to HTML and it worked with the image… but the styling of the post’s text is now the styling of the email as you can see here: http://charlesmerlin.fr/fleur-3/

Any idea how I can make sure the CSS styling I defined does not get “erased” by the email styling?

    Thank you!

    Charles
