• On [ redundant link removed ] this page of my website I have a portfolio section with different projects. When you hover over an image, you’ll see the title of the project (in white) & the categories beneath it (in yellow). These categories are hyperlinked, and I don’t want them to be. I just want them to be standard text. I don’t want them to redirect or go to a 404, I just want the text to not be linked. But that is something that WordPress is doing automatically. Basically I want the entire image and everything inside it to only link to the project page, nothing else.

I know this is probably a relatively simple fix with some JavaScript or something, but I only know HTML & CSS, so I don’t know how to do it. Can someone help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You will need to do this using a child theme. It looks like you are using Divi which is a premium theme so you will need to find out which file needs to be edited from them as we don’t support premium themes here on WP.org. I can tell you that it will likely require editing PHP code though.

You can learn about child themes here https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/

Divi support can be contacted here https://www.elegantthemes.com/forum/

Hope this gets you headed in the correct direction. Once you find a solution please tag the thread as resolved.
