Remove IP Adress

    Hi,
    Today I have seen, that the plugin is saving the IP-Address of the subscribers.
    Is it possible to deactivate this?
    I do not want to save these IP address to be fully GDPR compliant in Germany.

    Hello @greendroid,

    Yes, it is possible to deactivate storing of the IP address for the new subscribers. We have this option in the PRO version of Email Subscribers. You can visit the website here

    Hi,
    thanks for the answer.
    I am wondering, that I am forced to buy the PRO version of the plugin to get GDPR compliant. I would expect, that the “Storing of the IP address” is a PRO feature.

    Is it possible, that this option is pushed to the free version?
    With your IP storing the plugin is not useful for me anymore…

    Hello @greendroid,

    Just wanted to inform you that, we have considered your request and have completely disabled IP address storing in the free version.
    The changes will be reflected in the next release of Email Subscribers i.e 4.6.10

    However, the option to enable/disable will still be a part of the PRO version.
