i can’t see any outline anywhere ?! (nor any empty .png or other image for the menu items for that matter…)
not sure what your problem is to be honest …:(
Im so sorry, i read The solution in another post last night (just tick off The image in layout) and changed it in The page … And then Fell asleep.

I also want to remove the images from the menu.
in short (just butting in here)
a) don’t upload a featured image
and
b) wppizza->layout uncheck “Display placeholder image when no image associated with meal item:”
you might also want to disable upload of featured images entirely (in the admin) by doing as described here (after you have done the above and deleted any already existing ones):
