Hi @ricaneaga !
Thank you for the feedback! Indeed it would be great to get rid of jQuery dependency in the frontend.
Currently we only use it on several places which can easily be replaced with vanilla JS or other small alternatives. I’ll add it to our to-do list and we will release it in version 2.2 of Buttonizer.
This feature will be available in the beta branch of version 2.2 next week (which you can enable in Account settings in Buttonizer if you need it). You can read more about it here.
The official release of version 2.2 might be in a few weeks after we have completed all new features.
Let us know if you have any more feedback 🙂
That sounds fantastic. Hope you’ll release it very soon. If you can leave a note here after version 2.2 is released, it would be fantastic, I’m thinking of buying it after testing it (and see if it’s really jquery free).
Thanks again 🙂
Sorry to bother you again, but have you reconsidered solving this one? From what I see on the beta development page – https://community.buttonizer.pro/d/335-styling-update-beta-builds – the “jquery” mentions are gone.
Thanks again?
Hi @ricaneaga ,
The jQuery dependency removal update has already been merged to our dev-branch and will skip the beta branch. Our next live-branch update (version 2.1.5) is scheduled for next Monday.
This update will include the jQuery removal and of course a lot of other new features 🙂
I’ll update this topic as soon we have released the update for Buttonizer.
Hi @ricaneaga , the plugin is jQuery free now 🙂
This is amazing! Confirmed working on the free version. Thank you very much! 🙂
