Remove linking from displayed items?

I’m using this plugin (happily I might add) in a few places, but in one, I don’t really want to link to the full posts, I simply want to show the Title text as a list of items in the sidebar. Any suggestions on a relatively painless way to remove the link attributes from one instance of the widget without removing from all? Or possible to add a checkbox to the widget?
