In theme options > mobile slider choose yes beside Would you like to use this feature? and then choose none beside Slider for Mobile.

I have applied this setting but it still shows up in the mobile version. Also, my homepage slider on my website all of a sudden disappeared. My site is thesuchef.org
Thanks

Update: It seems like the slider has been removed from my mobile version but it is also not present on the desktop site.
Strange. In theme options > slider settings you still have the flex slider selected, correct?

Yes I do. I went through 1 by 1 and deactivated my plug-ins and it seems like my w3 total cache plug-in was causing the issue. However now the text over the slider images are missing and I cant seem to get it back. I current have the following in the custom CSS box:
.captiontitle, .captiontext {font-family: ‘Pacifico’, cursive; font-size: 500%;
background: transparent;
font-weight: 400;
text-shadow: 2px 2px #000000;
}
.flex-caption {
color: #f7f7f7;
text-align: center;
left: 0;
margin-bottom: -30px;
bottom: 50%;
width: 100%;
}
In theme options > slider settings do you have show captions set to On?

Ah okay I dont know how I missed that. However, now whenever I activate the w3 total cache plug-in the slider goes away. I’m not sure what happened with the plug-in.
Hey,
Because of page caching in w3 total cache. You need to make sure page caching is off for the front page in the page cache settings. Else the scrip that checks for mobile won’t run.
