Remove “New Draft” from Edit Posts/Pages List

    Hi,

    is it possible to remove “New Draft” from Edit Posts/Pages List (and leave only “Clone”)? I don’t use New Draft at all, and the list of the options is a bit crowded because of an extra item.

    Hi,

    I do know that if you go to the WP admin dashboard > Settings (sidebar) > Duplicate Post > Display tab > and untick the option of ‘post list’ from the ‘show links in’ option, it should remove the Duplicate Post options in the overview so it is less cluttered, and you can just edit a specific post and clone it from there.

    However, there currently isn’t any setting in the options to just enable cloning and to disable the ‘new draft’ from showing in the overview. I’ll try to check if there’s any sort of filter or option for this and get back to you.

    Hi Michael,

    yes I have tried to untick the option of ‘post list’ from the ‘show links in’ option. But as you mentioned, it removed both Clone and New Draft. But my goal is to keep the Clone option and remove only New Draft.

    I need only one of these options. In fact I’m not sure which one. 😉 So it would be nice if I could choose any of them to use or disable.

    it’s not possible at the moment, but it will be included (among other big changes!) in the next version of the plugin which should be due for January.
