Remove or change thumbnail

    Hi 🙂
    Could you please answer my doubts?
    1. Is there a way to remove the default thumbnail and show instead a black background? (I do not need to retrieve thumbnails from youtube for each video, and the default thumbnail is ugly and unnecessary.)
    2. Is there a way to apply another thumbnail?
    If it is not possible to apply a default thumbnail for all videos through a plugin option, at least through an attribute inside the function or shortcode for a single case, it would be nice.
    I was wondering if this could be achieved through applying another src address for the image or through CSS mask above the default thumbnail, but those experiments are out of my reach.

    You can use a code snippet like this one (replacing <your image url here> with the URL of the image of your choice);

    add_filter( 'lyte_match_thumburl', 'lyte_my_own_thumburl' );
function lyte_my_own_thumburl( $thumb ) {
    return '<your image url here>';
}
