A client has found that when she googles her site she finds a link to a support question I posted over a year ago. (I’m not getting the same result) – I can’t seem to edit that question do delete her web address.

    Any solutions?

    thanks in advance.

  • Hi Kburrows,

The rules of the forum are that Forum topics will only be edited or deleted at the discretion of the moderators if they represent a valid legal, security, or safety concern as noted below:

As I understand it, there are so many forum entries and questions that the volunteers who respond to as many issues as they can just don’t have the time to edit entries post hoc.

Just so you know (and I didn’t know until I just read the above link), we can all edit our own entries for the first 60 minutes after we initially post our query.

Yes, the ww.wp.xz.cn forums are public and search engines can access them and cache them just like any website. This is just the way the Web is, we don’t edit people’s posts for search engine reasons.
