Remove page header

Hey everyone,

Greeting from sunny Sydney, Australia. I hope you’re having a wonderful day wherever you are in the world.

I’m complete newbie at the WordPress machine, I’ve learnt a bit about making templates in cpanel etc but there’s a couple of problems that are driving me crazy.

Can someone tell me how to remove the Arcade theme header from a page of my choosing, and where I actually do that (inside wordpress or Cpanel.
If it means making a new page template I can do that I just need to know what to type and where : )

The other problem is setting a custom background image for different pages. I’ve downloaded a plugin that does this for me but I’d like to know how to do this the correct way.
