I posted another support thread which was marked as “resolved”, however I didn’t intend to mark it was resolved so I’m not sure if someone else did that or I did it accidentally: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/clear-configuration-reset-to-default/

In that thread I asked about resetting powerpress to defaults, and the answer I received was “you can’t do that without deleting directly from the database”.

Is there a help page which outlines which values to remove from the database? If not, is the fact that the data installed by this plugin can’t be easily removed called out anywhere? This fact would have changed whether I decided to install it, I assumed that like most plugins if I deactivated and removed it this plugin would remove all of its data from my wordpress installation…

To be clear, my ultimate goal is to change or remove the default feed (“podcast”). I’d like to use a different slug (“subscriber”) which I already have created, but I’m unable to modify the “podcast” feed, or remove it entirely. I do not want to use the “podcast” slug for powerpress as I’m already using it for something else, however each time I enable powerpress it overwrites my “podcast” slug because I enabled powerpress in the past, then disabled it and started using the “podcast” slug for something else, and now when powerpress is enabled it still thinks it’s able to use that slug.

So: how can I remove, or rename, the “podcast” feed powerpress wants to use so it doesn’t try to use the “/feed/podcast” destination on my wordpress installation?

Even if a thread is marked “resolved,” we are still actively monitoring it. As stated in the other thread, the Blubrry dev team has been alerted to your question. An answer will be posted on the original thread once they’ve had a chance to look at it.

Thanks, I was unaware that a “resolved” topic doesn’t mean “closed” or “finished”. I posted this thread before the response indicating the dev team was alerted to my question, if I was aware that “resolved” didn’t mean “we’re finished looking at this question” I wouldn’t have opened another support thread. Thank you for responding, and thank you to the entire team for developing such a useful and versatile plugin.
