Remove Post Title Link

I am trying to remove the post title link. I searched the forum and nobody seems to have an answer for my problem. I am using the yoko theme and index does not contain the code: <h2><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2> Does anyone know how to remove the link from this theme?
