Add the above code to the ‘style.css’ of your CHILDtheme:

You don’t have a childtheme yet?

      1. Install and activate ‘one click childtheme plugin
      2. create the childtheme
      3. Dashboard > appearance > Themes > activate the childtheme
      4. Make the changes in the CHILDtheme!
      – copy php files / css-file(s) of the original theme [as required] to the childtheme directory and edit them as required.

    Hi Clhangel,
As it is a recurring improvement demand, I will add an option to disable post/page on front page in a future release.

    Thanks for your feedback
    Cheers
    Nicolas.

Well this is weird. I’ve done exactly what the OP wants, but from release 2.1.4 on. See the results here: http://darioalfonsi.com

There are no posts on the main page: they are stored on the “news” page. I did this by following the instructions I outlined here: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/removing-recent-post-from-home?replies=5

    What did I misunderstand?

I’m sorry, but, can’t this be don by changing the front page to a static one?
