Remove products from Google ?

Hi there.
My question could seem weird, but I am managing layout of product in some specific pages.
So that is why I don’t want Google to index my products…
Is there a way to do so?
in my robots.txt I stated
```
User-agent: *
Disallow: /produit/
```
But it doesn’t change anythng so far (may be I should ask for a few more days …?).
The real problem is not newly created product but the one I created before change robots.txt and changing parameters in Yoast SEO.

Unfortunately in my case I want products to be disallowed, not pages.
Automatically Google find thos kind of products an I don’t want.

You can disallow search engines from products on a per-product basis with the Yoast SEO plugin:

It does also have this setting under SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types as well:

That is what I did, but it didn’t change anythign so far.
May be I have to wait for a few more days for google to register those changes?
For exemple that URL is still showed in google https://instantmax.net/produit/maxi0291/, while there is a noindex meta tag on it…….?!

Howdy!

I’m not an SEO expert, so can’t say for sure, but I do believe the process takes a bit of time, as Google bots have to re-crawl your site and then update with the new restrictions.

If you want to temporarily remove URLs until the bots are able to crawl your site again, you can follow the process here:

https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en

Otherwise, if you have a Google Webmaster account, you can submit a new sitemap and ask the Google bots crawl your site sooner rather than later.
