    Hi JoycieNL

Would you mind sending me a screenshot so I could have a look. There shouldn’t be any pic of a lock that I am aware of. There is however, a settings page and this is only visible in your dashboard > plugins and dashboard > settings.

Hoping to have this resolved soon.

    Hi JoycieNL,

That’s strange. Our plugin doesn’t add anything. Please double check your plugin list and let me know which plugins you have installed.

The link leads to the admin page for WP Copy Protection however…
And when I disable the plugin the pic and text (+link) is gone from the admin bar…

    Hi JoyceNL

Strange. It could be another copy protection plugin. We get support requests in our email often and it ends up being another plugin here (the author for that plugin named his plugin as close to ours as he could so users tend to get confused a lot). If you could give me the full name of the plugin, I’d be able to tell you. What I can tell you however, is that it is not our plugin because ours doesn’t add these things. You could also send me a screenshot of the settings page that you redirect to from that icon.

    Thanks

The full name is WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click

    H iJoycieNL,

I thought so. This is NOT our plugin. As stated in previous message, the author of that plugin named his plugin as close to ours as he could so users tend to get confused a lot. We get a ton of support emails that needs to go to him. Our plugin doesn’t add anything. See https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-content-copy-protection/

I hope this helps. Marking as resolved

    Regards
