Remove "Read Article" button on main page

Hello,

I’m looking for a way to remove the “Read Article” button that appears when you hover over an article on the main page.

I am familiar with CSS and child themes, however I can’t seem to find the class that is causing this to show up. If I modify any of the related classes to display: none;, the button still appears, and it breaks other elements on the page such as the article title, etc.

There is a fix for this on these forums, however it’s from 2 years ago, and they no longer work, I suspect the theme author updated the class name or something.
