Remove rel=”canonical”

    Hi, I would like to remove rel=”canonical” atribute from all forum pages. What file I have to change for it?

    Hi @pazuzu1982,
    If you remove that all forum pages will be tracked as one page by search engine bots. WordPress and WP SEO plugins can’t recognize forum pages because those are not custom post types, so they’ll add the same canonical URL for all forums and topics pages.

    Bad decision, because if there is any useful information on the pages of the topic pagination, it is not indexed by search engines ((

    @pazuzu1982,
    wpForo SEO cares about that too. It changes canonical URL for all pages of a topic. Also it adds according information in page title and description, so all pages of topics are being indexed too. Please see the screenshot of an example topic second page:

    BTW, maybe we miss something, could you please provide more information about your issue? What is the reason of your opinion? Do you have any error from Google or from other SEO checker tool?
