    Hello,

The Yoast plugin is adding <meta name=’robots’ content=’index, follow, max-image-preview:large, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1′ /> in the head section on all pages of our site. When Yoast is disabled these go away. We are using a plugin call Ultimate FAQ that generates pages that we don’t want indexed. Can you please share a function that will remove the meta tag from specified pages when the Yoast plugin is activated?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @joeco,

Thanks for reaching out about your FAQ page. I understand that you want to noindex FAQ pages created with the third-party plugin, Ultimate FAQ. There are two options:

    1. Individual FAQ page – in the advanced tab of the Yoast SEO metabox, disallow search engines from showing the page in search results
    2. All FAQ pages – in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types. Turn OFF the option to show the FAQ Pages in search results

Do let us know how it goes.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
