Did you find an answer to this? I am guessing it’s built-in within “layouts” under custom fields, but I’m not finding what the value should be.

Hello, you could use a fullwidth template for the pages. You could select the full width template on the page edit screen under “Page Attributes” to the bottom right.
Ah, I was actually talking about a post, not a page. I’ve been reading and it sounds very messy – creating a child theme and all just to remove the sidebar =/ In addition since I only want to SOMETIMES remove the sidebar I’d be writing some PHP that would need to be replaced every time the theme updates, as I understand.
