I know it’s been asked before as I’ve done a search and tried removing the call to the sidebar from the template but I’d like to have a static page as my homepage so I can customise the layout and I’d like to completely remove the sidebar from the homepage.
I’ve tried removing the call to the sidebar from index.php but it appears to do nothing and the sidebar still shows.
I want the sidebar on all the other pages but I’m confused as to why removing it in the index.php template appears to do nothing.
