remove sidebar line thingy

    Hello,
    Complete newbie here.
    I’m trying to completely remove the sidebar from this work in progress;
    http://www.eversostrange.com
    Ploughed through the forums and all I’ve managed to lose part of the sidebar by removing;

    <?php get_sidebar() ?>
    from index.php

    But as you can see not the whole thing.
    Any ideas?
