Hi Henner,
Could you check if you have that issue when using the default recipe template? It shouldn’t show the space then.
If it works there, I suggest recreating the way the ingredients are in the default recipe template in your own.

thanks for your quick response!
You are right, in the default template is no space. Unfortunately I have some trouble recreating the ingredients-block, because in the recipe-fields-section on the left I only see Ingredients, but not e. g. “Recipe Ingredient Quantity” (http://prntscr.com/bdr6y4). Are these fields are “hidden” at another place?
Or is it even possible to copy the Ingredients-block from the default theme and paste it in my theme?

Hi Brecht,
I found the solution myself: After adding Ingredients the single Ingredients-fields show up. And now I can solve the problem with the space as well 🙂

They will indeed show up once you click on that “Recipe Ingredients” block.
