I wanted to update this thread that in the meantime we have an app available to disable/hide these unwanted channels and you can find it here: https://apps.bigcommerce.com/details/18212
Be sure that you’re signed in to your BigCommerce store when visiting this link so you can install it directly. Once installed and in the app, you can click the three dots > Edit Channel Details > Uncheck “Enabled”, and Save to hide those.

thank you for the app, I was able to remove unwanted channels.
I’m still experiencing product sync errors.
I’m my own GC wordpress host provider … trying every possible way to sync products without success.. over 30 wordpress FRESH installs and now even new FRESH BIGCOMMERCE store just to achieve ONE SINGLE SUCCESSFUL PRODUCT SYNC…
!!!!!! and it worked ONLY AFTER I DELETED ALL BUT 95 PRODUCTS IN MY FRESH BIGCOMMERCE TEST STORE!
my regular store has over 13000 products.. what now.. any ideas?
Ok… I think i got it…Error log was suggesting that my custom file contains more than 250 characters in some products??? ..instead looking for the specific products, I edited file “customfield” changed all 250 to 2500 and product sync finally works.
