Have a look at the event-list about page (Admin Area -> Event-List -> About -> Shortcode attributes). There you can find Information to the shortcode attributes which allow to modify the output, for your requirements you can use the following shortcode for example:
[event-list show_filterbar=false link_to_event=false]
