Remove 'The" in ordered list | ww.wp.xz.cn

Brand new to WordPress; love this plugin. My site has book reviews and the post titles are the complete book title with “The” so when I show the full ordered list, the “The” is included. How could I eliminate “The” for the purpose of the ordered list, while keeping it as the correct post title. see http://litkidz.com/kids_books_list/ Thanks so much.

Answered this question myself: Created a field to hold titles without “the” and “a” and then used the display-post-shortcode argument to sort by custom field.
