Remove underline from hyperlinks ?

Is it possible to remove the underline from hyperlinks generally ?

I have created some Covers with photos on the frontpage, showing some hyperlinks to the related galleries.

But the hyperlinks are always underlined, which doesn’t look nice especially on photos. In the menu it doesn’t look pretty either.
