remove UpdraftPlus from the main menu bar

    I want to remove UpdraftPlus from the main menu bar for users that have limited Admin access. I am using PublishPress Capabilities Pro to manage the rights and accessibility for these users however I cannot find a way to remove UpdraftPlus from the main menu. When these users do click on a UpdraftPlus sub-menu item , they are blocked and receive a “you are not allowed to access this page” message but I would prefer to remove the UpdraftPlus menu item altogether

    You can hide menu items in WordPress by using the remove_menu_page() function in PHP or using a plugin like Admin Menu Editor.
