I do not understand why you do not offer the capability to remove sites from the Global Dashboard that have been discontinued without disconnecting from Jetpack first, but since you like the extra work, can you please remove the following sites from my dashboard?

I should be able to hit a checkbox on the dashboard and choose “Disconnect” but for some reason, that is not an option.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Hi @richwplogin

Thanks for reaching out! I’ve gone ahead and removed the requested sites from your Global Dashboard.

I understand how having an option to remove sites directly from the dashboard would be more convenient, and I appreciate your feedback. The reason this isn’t currently possible is that once a site goes offline, the only remaining site information resides on WordPress.com. Since the connection between the site and WordPress.com is broken, there’s no way for the user to access it in order to remove it themselves.

The best way to handle this in the future is to disconnect Jetpack before taking a site offline. That ensures the site is fully removed from your dashboard without requiring further steps.

Our team is aware of this issue. If you need help with anything else, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to assist!
