removing brackets from text | ww.wp.xz.cn

I’m using slideshow for quotes only (description text only), but I have these < brackets> on each side of the quotes on the page and want to remove them. How do I do this?

The brackets you’re seeing are the navigation buttons that let you go back and forth through your slides. You can disable them by setting “Activate navigation buttons” to “No”.
