Removing date from blog article

I’m using the Zakra theme and I’m trying to figure out how to remove the post date in a blog article.

I’ve tried this CSS code

.below-entry-meta .posted-on {
display:none;
}

but it’s not working. Can you give me some guidance on what I’m doing wrong?

You can disable the date from Customize > Theme Options > Post/Page/Blog > Single Post and click the eye icon left to the date as instructed here:

Hello, I do not have the option to hide anything, or date, or author, or categories, or labels. I prick in the eye and it does nothing. Thanks for your help.

Hi @dorian21,
I just checked and found that it’s not working as you said. We’ll check this in detail and fix it in an upcoming update. For now, please add the following custom CSS:
```
.entry-meta > span.posted-on {
    display: none;
}
```
