Removing Featured Image in Posts
-
I am brand new to WordPress. I just had my Blogger blog transferred to WP .org – The second post I created in WP, I was playing around and clicked “add featured image”. I then realized that it duplicated the first image in my post and put it above the blog title. So then it looks stupid with two of the same photo on top of each other. I found out that if I delete the featured image before it’s published, it will also delete the image in the post. If I permanently delete the image after it posts, it goes away & looks great, but the next time I create a post it does the same thing… plus it forces me to delete everything out of my media file. I have found this topic in the forums but I’m so new to this – I don’t understand what the php. is, etc. I’m using the Fabric Child Theme from StudioPress 1.0.1. Can someone walk me through this in dummy terms please? I appreciate your help! Blog: Renew Your Space
