Site looking good but I can’t work out how to remove the sidebar on the inside pages easily, without playing around with the markup/CSS. Where should I be looking for this option?

I’ve succeeded in removing it from the homepage, and disabled all comments on pages, just can’t get rid of that sidebar inside!

  • Do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes.

Yes, of course, but at the moment I am working through the individual options for customising the theme without touching anything internal. If it turns out I do need to make changes I will use a child theme. However, is there no option to turn off that sidebar? The front page does turn off easily.

Sorted. The option was starting me in the face. Coffee helped. Sorry!

    KBaucherel, what was the solution?

Embarrassing…. I had not checked the template options on the right hand side of the page edit screen. The default template had the sidebar; the required template was full page.
