Removing menus/tabs

Hi.

We think that the first tab (the main menu with ‘jetpack’ slug) is some kind of redundant when Jetpack is connected. We’d only need that tab when Jetpack is not connected, Settings tab is more than enough but I don’t want to touch a lot the core code. Any chance to remove the first tab easily? Javascript, styles depends on the main menu so I guess there’s not an easy way to remove it. Any chance to add some filters? Maybe an array of menus before hooking themm into the admin side?
