Removing old WP permalink redirects

    Hey folks,I’ve this problem in my site

    Basically I had this page named “/page”, then I renamed to “/page-does-not-matter” which caused WP to create a redirect from the old page to the new one.

    But the thing is if I know try to set another new page as “/page” it will keep changing it to “/page-2” 🙁

    Any ideas!?

    I’ve searched inside phpmyadmin wp_postmeta but to no avail

    “/page” changes to “/page-2” if you already have a post with that exact permalink. If you can’t find it in the post list, maybe it’s in the trash.

    Yeap … I feel really stupid but yeah that was the case 😀
