    Hi there,
I am having problems with schema markup for my articles. I have installed the plugin ‘All in One Schema.org Rich Snippets’ and it works perfectly, but when I check in Google Structured Data Testing Tool, it is picking up another schema markup for the article which is full of errors. I’m not sure where it is coming from, or how it is being inserted into my code.
Does WP try and insert basic schema?
Any help really appreciated. I’ve googled for hours!
    Thanks
    Gavin

  • WP doesn’t do anything but your theme might. First of all deactivate all plugins and check if it’s appearing. If not, switch to a different theme and check again. This should narrow down if it’s a plugin or theme add-on. If the former, you’ll need to add them one at a time to work out which one it is.

Hey thanks Dartiss, that’s good advice.

Looks like it’s the theme…any suggestions how to turn it off?

You’ll probably need to change the theme files if there’s not an option within the theme-specific settings. I’d get in touch with theme developer via their support channel.

Ok cheers, I’ve emailed them. Thanks for your support Dartiss – much appreciated.

    Have a great day.

My pleasure. If you could set the post status to “resolved” it would be appreciated.
