I’ve uninstalled any plugin that builds schema. Still, there’s lots of schema markup on our website.

I’d like to remove all the schema and start from scratch. How can I remove the schema?

I’m confident that there are no other plugins that are the authors of the schema, but perhaps I am wrong. Is there a way to identify the schema plugin owner?

    Sam

    Hi Sam,

Try going to the plugin settings > Advanced tab…

Check the box where it says “Delete Data on Uninstall” if you would like Schema to completely remove all of its data when uninstalling via Plugins > Delete.

I re-installed Schema. Activated. Selected “Delete Data on Uninstall”. Saved. Deactivated. Uninstalled.

    Schema is still present. http://www.elcinfosec.com

I can see the schema.org markup on your site, but it’s not generated by Schema plugin. Mostly it’s generated by the theme you are using.

If you deactivate the Schema plugin, schema markup should be removed.

P.S. If you are using a cache plugin, try flushing cache after making changes to your site.
