Removing the Edit Buttons
-
Watch this be the most obvious answer, but here I go.
Right now I am in the midst of creating a new website, of which there are a large number of JAWS users (blind people using text-to-speech). I’ve had a few people help me poke around and try and break WordPress and we’ve basically come to the conclusion that it’s wonderfully accessible.
We did find the WYSIWYG less easy to navigate through and unanimously chose the basic editor. With one exception, we didn’t run into any difficulties at all; however, the edit buttons are a tiny bit clunky for our use and so I ask, is there a way to remove them from the post/edit page? And if so, how?
(Side note: I have not poked through WordPress’s source code in about two years, so pardon me for being lame and rather rusty.)
