Some themes add a set of default widgets if the sidebar is empty. (Yes, that is a real pain and not helpful.) Try adding a text widget, but leave everything there blank.

Yes, thank you for the explanation: the problem is that the sidebar stays empty but the space is not available for the main content… I would have liked the whole page to be available… is it possible to do something through CSS?

Maybe, but ask your theme’s devs first if there’s a no-sidebar option for the theme. I recommend asking at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/parallax#new-post so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Thanks for your effort, but although I know that there is an area with inactive widgets, I don’t understand what you mean by “Simply simplified the gadget from the sidebar and in the Gadget area.” You know, the area called ” Sidebar Right ” is empty and I can’t do anything with all the menus shown there in the front-end view.
