Depends on a theme. If you can tell me the div class or point me to the post I will get the WP author box and hide it when the starbox is loaded.

I’m having the same issue with the Tetris theme. Is it possible to add a field to specify the selector for the default author box?
I added the author-info class to the div in Tetris to make it go away.

For me it is happening on https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/responsive, and the simple themes, http://www.simplethemes.com/, like Impacto (http://www.my-nursing-career.com/nursing-school-accreditation-ccne-nlnac)
Any other way to this except to get them removed theme by theme and writer you here about each one of them?

I’m using 2011 theme with the same problem. I will be switching to 2014 theme in the near future but would like to disable the default WP Author Box in both themes.
