@shortpixel Yes, would like to have a feature to only rename media files not force me to reupload.
Thanks for your suggestion @alriksson , we’ll consider it but it is possible outside the scope of this plugin.
Have you tried to use a “File manager” plugin to perform such operations?

Why use file manager to rename? you mean this is possible natively to do through sftp without any issues? Just easier to have it directly working in the media library within WordPress. Maybe within the shortpixel or AI core plugins?
I’m not yet sure I understand how you imagine this feature working, could you please explain this in more detail maybe?
